Start your first session

A session is one conversation with one agent, working in one folder on your computer. It keeps running when your phone is away.

Start a session

1. Open the app and choose the computer. Choose New session.
2. Under Where, pick the folder the agent works in. It must be inside a folder the computer allows. Add more on the computer with remotxai workspaces add.
3. Under Agent, pick Claude Code, Codex or Pi.
4. Under Model, leave the box empty to use the agent’s default, or type a model ID.
5. Under Options, leave Spawn in Yolo mode off. What Yolo does.
6. Type your first message and choose Create session.

The agent starts on your computer. Its work streams to your phone: messages, commands, file changes and approval requests.

Pick up a session you already started

Sessions you started in a terminal appear under Adoptable in the sidebar. Choose Adopt to resume one from the phone. Adopting takes the session over, so close it in the terminal first. If you leave it open, both write to the same conversation.

Sessions started from the phone appear under Managed.
